1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("customer," "you," or "your") and Solid Home Cleaning ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By booking a cleaning service, creating an account, or using our website at SolidHomeCleaning.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Services Provided

Solid Home Cleaning provides residential and commercial cleaning services through a network of independent cleaning professionals. We act as an intermediary connecting customers with vetted cleaning professionals in your service area.

Our services include but are not limited to:

• Recurring maid service (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
• Standard home cleaning
• Deep cleaning services
• Move-in and move-out cleaning
• Apartment and condo cleaning
• Same-day cleaning services
• One-time cleaning appointments

The specific tasks included in each service type are outlined during the booking process. Additional tasks not included in your selected service may be available as add-ons and may incur additional charges.

3. Booking and Scheduling

All bookings are made through our online booking platform. By completing a booking, you are requesting a cleaning service at the date, time, and address specified. Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

• You are responsible for providing accurate information during booking, including your service address, property size, and access instructions.
• Booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
• You must ensure that a responsible adult (18 years or older) is available or that proper access has been arranged for the cleaning professional on the day of service.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking at our discretion.

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing is calculated automatically at the time of booking based on your property details and selected services. The price displayed at checkout is the total amount you will be charged unless additional services are requested or agreed upon during or after the appointment.

• Payment is processed securely through our booking platform at the time of booking or following service completion, as specified during checkout.
• We accept major credit and debit cards as indicated during the booking process.
• All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice for future bookings.
• Tips for cleaning professionals are optional and appreciated but never required.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to respect both our customers and our cleaning professionals.

• More than 24 hours notice: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be made at no charge.
• Within 24 hours: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a $50 late cancellation or rescheduling fee.
• Same-day cancellation: Cancellations on the day of the scheduled appointment will incur a $50 fee regardless of notice time.
• Lockout fee: If a cleaning professional arrives at your home and is unable to gain access due to no fault of their own, a $50 lockout fee may be charged.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of every cleaning service. If you are not satisfied with your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of the completed appointment. We will review your concern and, where appropriate, arrange a follow-up visit to address any missed areas at no additional charge.

Our satisfaction guarantee applies to areas included in your booked service and is subject to the following conditions:

• The issue must be reported within 24 hours of the completed service.
• The guarantee does not apply to areas or tasks not included in the booked service.
• The guarantee applies to quality-related concerns and does not entitle customers to a full refund in lieu of a re-clean.
• Refunds, if issued, are at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible cleaning experience, customers agree to the following responsibilities:

• Prepare the home for cleaning by picking up personal items, clothing, and clutter from floors and surfaces prior to the appointment.
• Secure pets before the cleaning professional arrives or inform us in advance if pets will be present during the service.
• Provide accurate and complete access instructions, including any necessary gate codes, parking information, or building entry requirements.
• Ensure that all utilities (water, electricity) are functioning and accessible at the property during the appointment.
• Inform us in advance of any known hazards, sensitivities to specific cleaning products, or areas that should not be accessed during the cleaning.

8. Independent Contractor Relationship

Cleaning professionals who perform services through Solid Home Cleaning are independent contractors, not employees of Solid Home Cleaning. We carefully vet all cleaning professionals in our network, but we do not control the specific manner in which they perform cleaning tasks.

Solid Home Cleaning is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent cleaning professionals beyond what is covered under our satisfaction guarantee and applicable insurance.

9. Property Damage and Liability

Our cleaning professionals take great care to protect your home and belongings. In the event of accidental damage caused during a cleaning appointment, please notify us within 24 hours of the completed service.

• Claims for property damage must be reported within 24 hours of the completed appointment.
• We are not responsible for damage to items that were improperly secured, already damaged prior to the cleaning, or made of fragile or delicate materials not suitable for standard cleaning methods.
• Our liability for property damage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to a maximum of the total amount paid for the cleaning service in which the damage occurred.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

To report a damage claim, contact us at support@solidhomecleaning.com within 24 hours of your appointment.

10. Prohibited Conduct

When using our services or website, you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information when booking or communicating with us
• Harass, threaten, or engage in inappropriate conduct toward cleaning professionals
• Request that cleaning professionals perform tasks outside the scope of the booked service without proper compensation arrangements
• Solicit or attempt to hire cleaning professionals directly outside of the Solid Home Cleaning platform
• Use our website or services for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to terminate your account and refuse future service for violations of these prohibitions.

11. Non-Solicitation of Cleaning Professionals

Customers agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any cleaning professional introduced through Solid Home Cleaning outside of our platform for a period of 12 months following their last appointment through our service. Violation of this provision may result in a referral fee of $500 being charged to the customer.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solid Home Cleaning's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific cleaning service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of our services.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@solidhomecleaning.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Solid Home Cleaning with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
